Why you should optimize your demand gen activities
In a new study released by CSO Insight's*, Jim Dickie and Barry Trailer note that companies who excel at managing their lead processes, realize a:
- 9.3% increase in the percentage of salespeople making their quota
- 16.5% conversion rates of leads to first calls
- 10% decrease in the amount of ramp up time it takes for new sales reps to become productive
- rise in win rates of 7%.
The study indicated that only 8 percent of all companies surveyed are lead generation optimizers, so if you think you can do better, you're in the majority.
